How to Print from Your Google Nexus One
With Google’s launch of the Nexus One a few weeks back, consumers can’t help but wonder if it can perform at par with other advanced mobile phones in the market. Others would often question if its capabilities can exceed features offered by other manufacturers in the market.
Nexus One boasts that it is a super phone. But after the many problems it faced a few weeks after its launch, many people wonder how it can surpass all the trials. Some people would want to know if it has certain print apps that can allow consumers to print documents and photos the way they can with their iPhone.
Printing with Nexus One
There are still no clear instructions as to how you may use Nexus One to print pictures and documents. The company had not released facts on how you will be able to print using this mobile phone. Basically, however, you may make use of the following methods to print your photos from Nexus One:
1. The best way for you to print documents from Nexus One is by using the USB connection provided together with the phone. Connect it to your computer then transfer files and photos coming from the mobile. Transferring and printing of files can be done as follows:
- Wait until you receive a notification that your USB is already connected with the computer.
- You should open the notification then click on the words “USB connected”.
- Touch your phone when the word “Mount” appears on the screen. This will signify that you intend to transfer your files.
- Once the files are transferred, you are ready to print them.
2. If your PC also has Bluetooth capabilities, then you may use Google Nexus One’s Bluetooth to transfer files to your computer. Simply turn the device on. You can actually see this when the Bluetooth icon appears on top of the screen. Make sure that your PC’S Bluetooth is activated as well. But remember that you can only exchange information within an 8-meter range. The Bluetooth device on your Nexus One can be activated after you have pressed the buttons “Home”, “Menu” and “Settings”. Under settings you should click on “Wireless Controls” then touch “Bluetooth Settings” as well.
There is no instruction yet as to whether software print app downloads will be necessary for wireless printing options via the Nexus One. Further instruction from the company may be needed most especially that the product is still new in the market. You still have to wait for wireless printing instructions as well.
