HP CloudPrint: Streamlining Your Mobile Office

Having a mobile office – which means having a trusty laptop and a powerful mobile phone, at the very least – allows us to be able to work whenever it is possible and wherever we may be.
It is nifty to be able to bring our offices wherever we are. It ensures that we can spend our time as productively as we want. It also enables us to stay connected and updated on all the things that matter to us through a reliable connection to the Internet.
However, there are a few challenges that we do need to deal with when it comes to working in a mobile office, and that is mobile printing. Sometimes, it just is not convenient to bring a printer with us whenever we need to be on the road. Moreover, there are times that it is impossible to get any printing done in an Internet café or the hotel’s business center. This is why there is a huge need for solutions that will make mobile printing a lot easier for people who need to be on the go.
Enter HP CloudPrint
One such solution that makes mobile printing easier is HP CloudPrint. HP CloudPrint is a service developed by computer company Hewlett-Packard in association with Research in Motion (RIM), the developer of the BlackBerry smartphone. It is web-based, which means all you need to have in order to access HP CloudPrint is a computer, or in some cases, a BlackBerry phone. The computer should have a web browser that supports Adobe Acrobat.
In order to be able to print with the HP CloudPrint service, you need to register an account and to download its dedicated printer driver. Registering for an account is free.
Once you are all set up, you just need to access the service online and upload the documents that you need to have printed. The service will ask for the document’s title. It will also ask for your name and telephone number, and probably a secondary telephone number in case you want to assign someone to do the printing for you. The system will then tag a code to the document you uploaded for printing.
On your browser, the document that you have uploaded for printing will show up as an Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) file. You click on it and it will print on the nearest printer that the computer has access to.
The HP CloudPrint Is Convenience
Using HP CloudPrint is very easy, and the service makes it a lot more convenient for us to get our job done even when we are on the go. As long as we have a computer with a web browser that has an Adobe Acrobat plug-in and an Internet access to go along with it, we are all set to get our mobile printing done.
So far, HP CloudPrint is only available in the United States, in Canada, the United Kingdom and Europe. It certainly is a great service to have access to whenever you are traveling and you have your mobile office with you.

I have just come across this site and blog, and have found it to be informative and interesting. I have to say the way technology is going and the mobile phones that are coming out more and more business people are using their mobiles to do business so to have a printer that can connect to ones mobile is an excellent idea and concept and I think that more business people will really garb this
