As with all printers you can get problems which are especially frustrating if its cartridge related when they cost so much. I have now moved to compatible cartridges for my Samsung ML 1610 and have found them to be very good. If you have an office then I would always recommend having a maintenance contract with the cartridge supplier. Having used Samsung printers for the past 2 years I would agree with most of your comments.
