What are netbooks and notebooks? Netbooks are described as mini-computers whose sizes range from 7 inches to 10 inches. The larger versions are notebooks with sizes ranging from 12 to 17 inches. Apparently with these size comparisons, you may say that portability in the netbook notebook arena goes to netbooks. But is this really the case at all times? Better take a look at the list of pros and cons of these gadgets.
Netbook Notebook Rivalry # 1 – Design Considerations
Netbooks were designed for several aspects of computing needs. You may use it to connect to the Internet and to communicate with other people. It may also be your means to learn and be informed. Their sizes are contributory to their compactness too.
When it comes to battery life, most netbooks can stay longer than notebooks making the former less dependent on charging. However, you cannot deny the fact that notebooks are multipurpose in nature allowing you to accomplish more computing tasks.

You should not question the mobility of a notebook because like your portable netbook options, this laptop version is also considered portable. Add to that the fact that ultra-slims or ultra-thins are already making raves for 17-inchers. This makes notebooks also a very mobile option for consumers. They may run through the aid of mobile phones when connecting to the internet but more users consider it better to invest on wireless external modems.
Most computer companies tie up with cellular networks when selling netbooks. This is in order to attract more consumers to buy the product knowing that an Internet bundle goes with it. When deciding between who wins on the netbook notebook rivalry, you have to consider your own concerns as a buyer. Maybe, you would rather think of investing on netbooks for your children. If you deal with some transactions using computers, notebooks are more convenient alternatives for you. The cost of these two items may differ but you cannot deny the fact that you can do more things with the help of notebooks. When mobility is an issue, you will never have a problem with both.

Load times are great too. Once you push the very easy to find and nicely centered power button in the center of the mini, you will be in windows XP in no time. I’ve had a few programs open at once and the delays were barely noticeable. It isn’t as fast and reactive as a regular laptop or desktop will be but for a computer this size it’s greater than expected.
Lastly included with the NB205 is a webcam that is integrated right into the top of the inside of the screen. My family used Skype a few times with it already and each time it worked quite well. A few lag issues due to some wifi break ups but the camera and images were great for such a little product.
The real drawbacks to this great netbook are..
Firstly the speaker is horrible. If you are going to be going on sites like Youtube or listen to mp3s on this, you must get a usb speaker attachment or rely on headphones. The speaker is very little and hidden under the bottom of it and even on full volume you
