Top Rated New Kodak Printers Released in 2009
The Eastman Kodak Company is one of the newest players in the consumer printing products industry, despite having established a solid name as a manufacturer of cameras and other related products. As thus, Kodak printers are relatively new offerings in the market and have yet to establish themselves among regular printer consumers.
Thus, it is perhaps quite expected that the pickings for top-rated Kodak printers for the year 2009 are slim. Here is the handful that made it to the top list of tech critics.
1. Kodak ESP 7 All-in-One Printer. The Kodak ESP 7 All-in-One Printer is good enough for usage in a home office. You may miss the fax capabilities that one tends to expect from a multifunction printer, but fax is not something you would miss if you do not really need it. Print quality on this Kodak printer is decent, although its two-tank ink cartridge system puts the accuracy on color printing a bit on the questionable side.
The design on this Kodak printer is simple and straightforward, so this may be appealing to you if you do not like your gadgets cluttered with buttons. One downside to this printer, however, is that it is a little bit noisy when it works.

2. Kodak ESP 9 All-in-One Printer. The Kodak ESP 9 All-in-One Printer is actually the successor of the Kodak ESP 7 mentioned above. The two printers do appear similar in that their designs are both simple and straightforward. A major difference between the two lies in the fact that this newer Kodak printer model has fax capabilities that the Kodak ESP 7 does not have.
This Kodak printer is also an improvement in terms of color printing. Its photo printing output is brilliant and evenly saturated, with a nice rendering of detail. However, the Kodak ESP 9 still suffers from the same noisiness that its older sibling has. This noise level is something that Kodak needs to work on when it comes up with newer models.

The pickings for Kodak printers may be slim this year, but the Kodak Company is not giving up on this new venture of theirs. We can perhaps expect something better from Kodak in the years to follow.
