Top Rated New Lexmark Printers Released in 2009

Loading ...In a sea of Japanese players in the electronics industry, Lexmark stands out as one of the more respected American companies in the business. Lexmark has come up with some really nice products over the years and Lexmark printers have gained a solid following.
There are a number of Lexmark printers that debuted in the market this 2009, and these are the handful that grabbed some attention from critics.
1. Lexmark X5650. The Lexmark X5650 is a decent multifunction printer that can work pretty well for your home office. It is a bit on the boxy side so it may not look much like eye candy when you set it on your desk, but that would not matter if performance is your only concern when it comes to printers.
This Lexmark printer does perform well and produces remarkable text documents. It may not be marketed as a photo printer, but it can produce bright and detail-rich photographs with warm tones. The only downside to this printer is that it works slowly, churning out some seven pages of text documents per minute. As for photos, it can take as long as two minutes to produce a single print.

2. Lexmark X7675. The Lexmark X7675 is a decent multifunction printer with network capabilities for the home. If you are not a fussy person and you just want to have a responsive printer that works quickly when you want it to, this Lexmark printer is for you.
Printing quality is a bit of a challenge, however. Prints are good but not perfect, definitely passable for ordinary printing jobs if you are not too discriminate about it. You can print photos on this Lexmark printer, but the output may be a bit on the fuzzy side.

3. Lexmark C540N Color Laser Printer. The Lexmark C540N is a good printer for home offices and small workgroups. It is quite cheap for a printer of its class, but thankfully the quality does not suffer for its price. This Lexmark printer and lexmark ink cartridges does not disappoint; its output of text documents is smooth and its color prints are sharp enough.
What makes this Lexmark printer even more beautiful is that it has a decent array of connectivity options. The only flaw to this printer is that it is quite slow. It can only print 21 pages per minute, which is lower than average for a color laser printer.

4. Lexmark X6650 Wireless 4-in-1 Printer. If you are looking for a cheap multifunction printer and your emphasis is on the cheapness of it, you should not look any further from the Lexmark X6650 Wireless 4-in-1 Printer. Aside from printing, it can fax, copy and scan. It also has Wi-Fi connectivity, so you can share it on a network.
Printing on this Lexmark printer is pretty much decent. Text document printouts are good enough to look as if they have been printed out using a laser toner cartridge. This Lexmark printer is not really marketed as a photo printer, but it can certainly print out photos, although of a limited quality.
