Welcome to the World of Lexmark’s Ten New Laser Products
Lexmark launched a whole new bunch of ten laser products just this October 2009. The first four products are Lexmark T656dne, X546dtn, C546dtn and E462dtn. The last six products come from the Lexmark X860 multifunction printers. These products have distinct features that will match the respective needs of an end user.
Lexmark laser printers are known to have a variety of functions. The manufacturer produces monochrome laser printers, color multifunction laser printers, color laser printers and monochrome multifunction laser printers. Learn about where each of the above-mentioned models belongs to.
First four recently launched Lexmark laser products
This classification was made to separate the first four products mentioned above from that of the six products under the X860 series. Below are descriptions for the first batch of new Lexmark laser printers:
1. Lexmark T656dne.
This monochrome laser printer is a combination of basic features and new printing technologies. The basic printer functions may be accessed by using its touch-screen feature. It is also supported by an Eco-Setting ideal both for paper and energy setting modifications. The tray can handle as much as 4,300 sheets of paper thereby saving time for paper loading. At a suggested retail price of $1,999, enjoy features such as Gigabit Ethernet Working and a printing option of 55ppm.
2. Lexmark X546dtn.
This Lexmark laser printer comes as a color multifunction printer.
It is capable of printing 25ppm both for black and white as well as colored printing settings. It is compact and readily accessible to a network. It also has an eco-friendly printing option that allows for duplex printing.
Furthermore, it contains a high page yield printer cartridge. This one sells on retail for a price of $999.
3. Lexmark C546dtn.
This is one of Lexmark’s color laser printers. Just like the X546dtn, it is equipped with duplex printing capabilities.
The paper drawer usually handles as much as 550 sheets but can also extend up to as much as 1,450 sheets per feeding.
This is very compact that it can fit your worktable. Price for this one is $699.
4. Lexmark E462dtn.
This Lexmark laser printer belongs to the single function monochrome list. Its maximum duty cycle is set at 80,000 pages. It has a standard drawer capacity of 550 sheets and can print as much as 50ppm. With a special extra high yield toner cartridge replacement, you may print as much as 18,000 pages. Filled with features such as the 4-line APA graphical display, duplex printing and Ethernet networking, this printer is priced at $749. As for the X860 multifunction printers, you can see versions such as the X860de 3, X860de 4, X862dtw 3, X862dtw 4, X864dhe 3 and X864dhe 4. When you look for these Lexmark laser printers from retailers, you will see the same product. Their differences lie on the features incorporated in the laser printer.
The X860de 3 and 4 are has a 1,100 sheet input capacity as well as a 35ppm capability. The Lexmark laser printers under the X862dtw series are equipped with a 2,100 sheet input capacity and a 40ppm printing capability. A more heavy-duty version is the X864dhe series that has 3,100 paper sheet capacities and a 55ppm printing capability. These products are retailed in the market in between $5,989 and $11,099.
As you will look at it, the products belonging to the X860 Lexmark laser printer series are more expensive than the first four products. Well, this is because they are larger in size and have functions that will meet the more complicated needs of your business when it comes to printing.
